Rhythm, lead, harmonica, and a percussion feel that fills a room without filling the stage.
The Backyard Ramblers started as two players who wanted the songs to sound like the records. That meant learning to cover a lot of ground with a little bit of gear, and it meant paying attention to the room instead of playing over it.
Years of live shows later, that's still the whole idea. We read the crowd, we build the setlist around them, and we bring live sound that works for the space you actually have. Backyard, brewery patio, barn, ballroom.
The cast rotates depending on the night. Same songs, same feel, whichever players are on the bill.

Option 01
Two players, full band sound. Guitar, harmonica, percussion feel and vocals. Built for patios, private parties and rooms where a five-piece is too much.
Option 02
The whole outfit. Rhythm section behind the harmonies, more volume, more room to stretch out. For venues, breweries and anything with a dance floor.
Option 03
Setlists tailored to your crowd, from the singalongs everyone knows to deeper roots cuts. Original material available on request.
